Chae Yeon (채연), a popular Korean pop artist known for her dancing skills, took many years to attain her current level of fame in Korea. She began her singing career in Japan with a group called Brand New Biscuits in 2001. She later joined another group Ultra Cats under the name Jinny Lee. Her persevarance paid off in 2005, when her single Two of Us (둘이서) from her second solo album hit #1 in Korea’s music charts.
