    Helen:

    Hello Darkness,

Another thing I forgot to mention was this / in one of your earlier post, you mentioned something to this effect / while the idea of the oppositional writer has been around in blogosphere, the idea of the oppositional reader has yet to emerge and then you go on to say, this may account for the irrational nature of the net as to how it has viewed the TOC incident.

Tell me Dr Darkness wasn’t Jasper an “oppositional” reader who raised a valid oppositional point? Didn’t the Brotherhood react by burying him without even giving him an opportunity to state his case? And you have the temerity to write / I wonder…why the oppositional reader has not emerge?

Wonder no more Darkness. Please do not censor this mail as I took a very long time to figure this out and write it out. Thank You.

Bravo! Singapore won the bid to host the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in 2010. Can we put aside our differences and be happy for our country and our youth?

    Is that… Helen Coonan?

Sorry, but I do not know anyone by the name of Helen; not that I’m Darkness and thus, “in the circle”.

    Darkness:

    Helen,

Judging from the amount of support Jasper seems to solicits from our readers.

Helen, I agree we may not have treated him fairly.

I also feel it’s counter-productive to ignore ppl or not to engage them.

In the long run that’s a lousy way to move forward and a great way to back track. It’s never worked for me in the net, in relationships, in business or even in the simple act of social networking.

    You are 100% right.

I agree Jasper should have been given an airing.

Unfortunately, this has little to do with us.

Pls refer the matter to TOC. Darkness 2008
