You raised a good point about tolerance. As much as we’d like to call ourselves racially tolerant, we have actually quite a ways to go in terms of being tolerant of others who are different. Just look at how we treat people who smoke, glbt’s, the less educated, the elderly, the disabled, Chinese/Indian migrant workers, political deviants, the list goes on.

“ideals” and “fighting for your believes” are very subjective. The problem is are we ready to accept people fighting for ideals that go against your own? Will you follow your heart and support a cause that is unpopular?

You can say anything about them, but they were the first with the analysis on every single occasion, Tibet, Myanmar, our Malaysian general elections etc etc etc.
