Thank you for your kind words Y2K. A noble and excellent work with the FILB.

<i>Man, the imperfect librarian, may be the work of chance or of malevolent demiurges; the universe, with its elegant endowment of shelves, of enigmatic volumes, of indefatigable ladders for the voyager, and of privies for the seated librarian, can only be the work of a god.</i>

Besides, 'g' here has done an excellent job of aggregating all the hot reads out there in blogosphere.

I feel he has done an excellent job without discriminating even a single site.

Do take the trouble to give the rest of greater blogosphere a chance.

I've always believed it pays to read broadly and this includes newspapers as well. As all this will only enhance the appeal of BP reads, as most of you will then get an opportunity to really compare and contrast and hopefully see both sides of the coin.

It's not a very healthy habit to just read BP articles alone.

Enjoy

Dear Fiona and Dentist Jan,

Let me assure you all. All systems are up and running. I am even posting using their finisher/ guinea account. I understand the traffic is sparser than usual, this could well be due to the writers protest action.

However, I don’t see any reason why it should spread to the readers and beyond. They aren’t even parties to the main debate.

I am very confident. If we all remain patient and bear it out in the short term everything will just go back to the way it used to be.

I know for a fact researching and writing articles is really what many in the writers guild are really passionate about. They are all very serious gamers. And gamers of their level will always study and write about any competitive model. The social political arena provides them with plenty of case studies to sharpen their mettle and gain knowledge.

Besides many of them don’t even watch TV and from what little I have able to observe, the life of a typical writer just revolves around a few set pieces, work, cycling, reading, kendo and blogging. That’s all there is to it.

These people write everyday rain or shine. Since the BP started it has always been an all weather producer of reads. I believe that sort of regimen has to be a model fashioning habit that eventually becomes integrated into a persons lifestyle. I mean are you suggesting these writers will chuck it all in, just because they believe the net should be left alone? That doesn’t cut it with me. I don’t believe that for one moment. I am very sure this is just a temporary set back, once the Brotherhood Press resumes again none of you will even notice this momentary hiccup. I promise you all.

I don’t really believe people would do something as stupid as cut off their own noses just to make a point. If it came to that, I would be very surprised as many of them came across as mature and even very intelligent individuals, so why would anyone in their right mind even contemplate what both of you seem to be implying?

I am sure if we just give the matter a few more weeks to cool down, it will all blow over very nicely. In fact, I am even prepared to give you an iron clad assurance that what I have just said will come to past. Everything will be back to normal again. You just watch and see. I promise you all.

Regards

"This is one of the longest writers protest in the history of BP."

This isn't the longest, but it's certainly the quietest, not even so much as a pin drop, not even a whimper in the read clubs bulletin board.

It's eiree and I have never seen the wind culled this way ever before. It leads me to draw the conclusion this is more than just a pejorative protest action by the writers in BHP. It's too organized.

I mean if you look at the left bar tags under "popular post" all of them seem to be only dirty pics of ladies. Compare that to bfr when they were around. They could even make one thread stay up there for 3 consecutive weeks! So how did it all go from hero to zero? Billionaire to Lang xiah lang?

I am going to have a can of heaven and hell green tea now or is it heaven and earth? Oh it can so confusing when there is not a soul around.

Hello Y2K.

Just curious. This is one of the longest writers protest in the history of BP. I was wondering why dont you encourage hiaow charbor readers like Missy Dotty and her gang to write? I am sure they will every reason to help out those guys during these testing times.

Does anyone happen to know who is the new ring leader behind this writers protest in BP? And exactly what terms are they seeking from Yawning Bread et al or are they more interested in AIMS or is it the gahmen????? Any idea.

I think this silent treatment is really starting to piss off alot of people. If it continues any more, I will just log off for good and go back to mid-day afternoon radio.

Take Care All and Peace Out :)

Dear Readers,

This is my first interview with the PBK, pls take the time to read, it will give you a better understanding abt the role and function of the Free Internet Library Board (FILB) and how it may relate to you as a blogger.
