Say NO to internet regulation in Singapore.

“Mr Raju Buddharaju, 58, the NLB’s director of digital resources and services, explained that one of the criteria for archival is that the selected blogs have to belong to “a representative sample that would reflect a snapshot of society”.
Yes, I know the next 100 will be chosen.
Infact, I have asked the entire brotherhood to be present on the turn of the new year.
We shall see where it all goes.
I am sure another round of fun will be schedule.
You see we never ever forget.
By the time we have finished with you, there will be nothing left.

Y2K
“By the time we have finished with you, there will be nothing left.”
Huh! I thought that’s where we were already?
(a) BP has been shut down for good.
(b) There is only you, me and pumpman around.
(c) The rest have taken off.
Any idea when they will put me in a new placing?
I put in a request 3 weeks ago. Haven’t even got any news or so much as a reply on my request for a transfer.
I think, they have forgotten about us Y2K?

Hi :)
Don’t really wish to get involved. But I was just around the neighborhood and couldnt help hearing.
I think the issue concerning the Brotherhood versus the National library board should be put to rest.
I have good reason to believe this matter was actually discussed at a dept level. Most people already realize one reason why the Brotherhood Press pulled out lock, stock and barrel from the Singapore Blogosphere was due to Mr Raju’s published statement.
However, I can assure you all Mr Raju’s views do not in any way represent either the official or definitive position of the National Library Board.
We live in ever changing times and I believe we will all have to adapt accordingly.
We sincerely hope the brotherhood press will put this matter to rest and restart its engines again to make Singapore an exciting e-hub that promotes the reading habit.

Great Yee,
I am so happy to hear this. We look forward to his resignation then.
Trust me, once the news comes out. I can personally guarantee you 100% the BP will restart again within 24 hrs.
