Daily ChioBu: Carmen Soo Wai Mun

Carmen Soo Wai Mun 苏慧敏 is a Malaysian Chinese fashion model and actress. Her unique looks came from her Malaysian Chinese father and British mother (her mother is half-Chinese and half-British). Soo started modeling at 17 and moved to Hong Kong to further her career at 20. In Hong Kong, she appeared on the covers of several magazines and was the spokesperson for Longines. Soo also landed herself a minor role in Jackie Chan’s movie “Gorgeous”. In addition to various TV roles and stage plays in Malaysia, Soo has also opened a boutique named ‘Kushi’ in KL Bangsar. She can speak fluent Malay, Mandarin and English, and currently resides in Petaling Jaya with her family.
