This is a good idea. If you want your post to be up just drop the ppl here a line. This will do great favors for small bloggers. As one of the biggest problems they face regularly is exposure and coverage.

No face about it. Just do it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. But if you are just there all by yourself twiddling your fingers then how are you going to even get started.
