I caught Watchmen yesterday. Most reviews have been divided between very good and otherwise.
Personally, I’ve never read the Alan Moore comic. Prior to the movie, all I had caught was the delectable trailer/teaser. I found the movie very enjoyable. Like Rorschach (a compelling performance by Jackie Earle Haley), I sat in my seat, wanting to uncover the truth. Thanks to the Comedian (an awesome performance by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Yes ladies, that cigar chomping man is/was Denny from Grey’s Anatomy), the smiley was cool already in 1985 even without the MSN Messenger.
