I caught Watchmen yesterday. Most reviews have been divided between very good and otherwise.

Personally, I’ve never read the Alan Moore comic. Prior to the movie, all I had caught was the delectable trailer/teaser. I found the movie very enjoyable. Like Rorschach (a compelling performance by Jackie Earle Haley), I sat in my seat, wanting to uncover the truth. Thanks to the Comedian (an awesome performance by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Yes ladies, that cigar chomping man is/was Denny from Grey’s Anatomy), the smiley was cool already in 1985 even without the MSN Messenger.

Daily ChioBu: Suzanne Sae Yamamoto

Sae Yamamoto (山本紗衣), better known as Suzanne got her big break when a producer noticed that she had character. She was then signed to an agency who mostly farms out talent to variety shows. She is now part of an extremely popular pop idol group in Japan, PABO. Believe it or not, she’s all Japanese! More of her after the break. [PNSFW]
