  1. Jaunty Jabber Says:

Once the result of re-election at AWARE EOGM pronounced that the old team has lose out, their defeat is going to be a very very ugly one. After putting so much effort in combine with usage of several dishonorable methods just to win, the defeat couldn’t be more disgracing.

However, even if they managed to win (somehow their dishonored methods worked), will they be sitting on their exco seats with dignity? Will the victory be a proud one? A piece of advice for the old guards, from today onwards, do not exfoliate your face, let the skin grow thicker.

  2. Onlooker Says:

    Muda, Muda

Whatever happen next, AWAREness will come out the worse for it.

This is because of the negativity that was amplified (through MS media) and serving as a divisive bone of contention between 2 group who otherwise does not have much conflicts b4 this incident.except for some technical legal issues which is also been played up.

It does not matter who win in the end, both factions had lost a little something in the process already.
One lost a little Faith, the Other a little Cordiality.

  3. Olivia Says:

Did Lee Kwan Yew actually give $50 million to the Khmer Rouge when they were torturing so many people? I realize that the website has fake news but is the top story based on a true event?

Managed to find this in forums and think that it would be useful for others to understand the issue better….see http://www.sammyboy.com/showthread.php?t=26201 for details.

    PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL

    Dear All

Please see Attachments on some recent developments in Aware. Aware is a woman’s organization which conducts comprehensive sexual programmes for girls and it runs this programme in some of the schools. They encourage girls to express their full sexuality and this includes experimenting with other girls. It would be a good idea to join it and change its focus to other problems of women and families.

..Please ask your like-minded friends to join Aware so that you can give the vote to those who wish to be an agent of change for the Lord. They could also contribute to the activities of the oprganization as there is much to be done for women and families in this dowturn of the economy. Unfortunately, I cannot surface but shall be assisting in the background . I attach the Aware membership application form for your use. The Aware application form has a section as to who ( if any) told you about Aware. You can just leave it blank . Please let me know whether you can join and attend the AGM which will be towards the end of March 2009. The fee is $40/ and should be mailed to the Aware Office ( see application form).

Look forward to hearing from you. Please call me. May I have your phone no?

    Blessings,
    Su Mien

  5. Jaunty Jabber Says:

Not long ago there are people forging the wayang party e-addresses right?

It is not about taking sides now but it need more scrutiny before anyone could take it as real that the e-mail from “smthio@xxxxxxx.sg” is a real one. Anyone could open a new e-mail account with self-created names right?

  6. Han Says:

    Jaunty Jabber,

I find it amusing that, on one hand, you dismiss the emails as fake, and then on the other, you assume that the so-called “death threat” sent by a “masculine gay” and “militant jihadist” to be from the “old guard”, when the truth has yet to be determined.

I think your bias is pretty much apparent.

“The Aware application form has a section as to who ( if any) told you about Aware. You can just leave it blank.”

    I lol’d when I read this part.

  8. Jaunty Jabber Says:

    To Han,

Didn’t you see the word I used in my comment. The angel word is “could”. Could means “maybe”.

I believe you have no problem with your grammar understanding. You could have missed out the word “could” as you are boiling when you read. Stay Cool.

Han, wishing you a cool weekend.
