    BROTHERHOOD PRESS:

    http://dotseng.wordpress.com/2009/08/13/when-the-best-may-not-be-the-best-a-study-in-the-search-for-excellence/

    Brief Extract:

“Singapore has a strong claim as the world’s greatest collector of accolades – we are one of the most competitive nations in the world for this or that; our gait has even been registered by time and motion experts to be one of the fastest – yet I find myself asking these days what do all these trinkets amount too; to paraphrase how is any reasonable person supposed to make sense of all these trophies?

To be perfectly honest with you; I don’t know but what I do know is when it comes to surveys – they’re all pretty flakey – I remember…….”

This has been proudly brought to you by the brotherhood press – going where no mind dares to go!

To Whom It May Concern in the BP,

Don’t wish to come across as nosey and pokey, but why are you chaps migrating en masse to Malaysia? Care to elaborate pleeeze? Has there been a sudden change of plans in the BP. I think as loyal supporters of the BP, we all have a right to know what is happening here. You people seem to come and go as you like and treat the whole of blogsphere as some hotel. I personally don’t think that reflects well on the brotherhood. I am very sorry.

I do not believe you will get a reply from them miss manners.

The manner in which these people pulled the plug on WP suggest very strongly they do not need a whole lot of reasons to get provoked. So it is best, if we just leave them be.

Besides they have their own market segment and it seems to be OK by the looks of it. So its really horses for courses.

If you say, you;re not going to get a reply. Then how can you explain this? I don;t believe for one moment you will not get a reply Miss Manners. It could well be they just haven;t checked the replies and feedback here. As for this dotseng site, no point posting there, your comments will be held in ice permanently.

    Hi,

Just to add on briefly to what has been said in this thread. No, you will never get a reply from them. The only way to ensure a reply is if you either threaten to sue them for breach of contract or if you regularly kick up a fuss like Missy Dotty.

As for the recent Brotherhood Press pull out from Wayang Party. Many rumors have been circulating as to why, they just stopped for no apparent reason and did a u turn. That was very unusual. To me the strangest thing they did was resite themselves by rerouting all their networks. Now if you log into lets say one of the SLF’s it completely by passes Singapore and is instead rerouted via Malaysia. But even then, one would have thought as strange as that might have been, even then, it would have to be largely driven by very sound considerations.

The question is why dont they share those reasons with all of us? I find that more disturbing. Dont you?

What would have really been unusual is if they stayed on. They remind me alot of those aliens in

Cant figure it out. Discussed it with all my friends and its still a blank. Lets look at the evidence. They were doing well in Wayang Party. They were chalking up the reads. They had all their star writers ready on the line. Then for no apparent reason. They just stopped. It wasnt a gradual slow down, but something like a train coming to a sudden halt. Then they started a massive pull out. First, they shut down all their gaming hubs within 24 hours, we couldnt log in for days. No explanation was given. Then they began to change all the names to their portals. This was also the time when WP changed to Temasek Review. Cant figure it out. Makes little or no sense to me. I need to take a nap. I have a headache

Look here there are not many of them. So how can they even control anything? Some put their numbers down to less than 5. While others believe they number no more than 8.

Why did they pull out? I think, it could be the guilds. The brotherhood control the guilds, but that is a misrepresentation. BS infact!

How is that even possible? As one guild, lets say the Mercantile guild may have close to 50,000 to 100K members. All in all there are 4 main guilds, they call them the four houses. These are the oligrachs who control everything from trade, politics etc in a gaming platform. interspacing deal with space travel, Metal Exchange for excavation and mining, Metal Trading who deal with selling and buying. Then the last one I think deals with communication. Each house is like a monopoly. Their roles are clearly defined. One guild is strictly not allowed to encroach on the interest of another guild. The brotherhood are the ones who are responsible for delianting the roles and making sure the goals are all crystal clear.

The only reason why the guilds are beholden to the brotherhood is bc left to their own devises, they will kill each other. That is 100%. So guild and guild dont ever talk to each other. That rarely happens. If they have anything to say, they go through the bro rep. Each house has a bro rep. He is their point man. And since they have a right of veto in the confederation. It gives them the illusion, they are very powerful.

But there are times. Not very often when the guilds do come together and reach an agreement all by themselves. Usually it happens when they feel the brotherhood are not representing their interest. When that happens you can say anything you want, but they will just have to tow the line.
