The once mighty Sound Blaster is dead. AWE64 is gone. No one cares about X-Fi or Audigy. The Zen is dead. Gigaworks is fighting a losing battle against Altec Lansing (low to midrange) and Klipsch (mid to high end). Delisted from NASDAQ. Instead of working on getting their core competence back on track, they go into stuff like stemcell computing (wtf is a Zii EGG???) and now E-book readers. Mr Sim is no Steve Jobs. Its time to step back like Bill and hire a proper management team to bring Creative back to its feet.

When you’re uninspired and lack innovation, you tend to just follow the crowd.

For the sword outwears its sheath, and the soul wears out the breast. And the heart must pause to breathe, and love itself have rest.
