One of those responsible for the La La Land’s sound editing is Singaporean Lee Ai-Ling Lee, a Singaporean and she has just been nominated for 2 Oscars. Per Screenwriters Association (Singapore), she is the first Asian Woman and first Singaporean to be nominated for an Oscar in sound editing and part of first female pair to be nominated for the award.
