<p>Eva Huang Sheng Yi 黄圣依 is a Chinese actress from Shanghai. Her father lived and studied in the USA in the early 1990s and her mother works for a well known and famous newspaper office as an editor in Shanghai. She graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in 2001 and acted in several TV series. In 2003, she won the role of lead actress in Stephen Chow&#8217;s Kung Fu Hustle 功夫, which earned her a Best Newcomer nomination at the 24th Hong Kong Film Awards.</p>
